About Faithful Security
On the 60th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima, and Nagasaki, religious people from a variety of traditions came together and formed a new group committed to building a world free of nuclear weapons. The Churches' Center for Theology and Public Policy and the Fourth Freedom Forum committed to staffing this new organization, and Rev. William Sloane Coffin provided the vision.
Now, Faithful Security, the National Religious Partnership on the Nuclear Weapons Danger, is a multi-faith coalition dedicated to raising the voice of U.S. religious communities toward a world free of nuclear weapons.
